Şişecam Tempered Glass is the brand of Şişecam Flat Glass’s full tempered glass.
The tempering process includes heating and cooling steps to give pressure stress to the outer surfaces of the glass on the horizontal line and an indirect tensile stress to the middle of the glass. It increases the durability of the glass and its resistance to thermal stresses.
It does not change the volume, chemical structure, color and clarity of the products.
Şişecam Tempered Glass; It is approximately 5 times more resistant to impacts than flat glass without heat treatment.
